Copyright Reports & Takedowns

At Bangla Lyrics Hub, we respect the intellectual property rights of all creators, lyricists, musicians, and record labels. If you believe that any lyrics or content on our website infringe upon your copyright, you can submit a takedown request or update request. We are committed to responding to and resolving valid reports promptly.

How We Process Reports

Upon receiving a complete and valid copyright report, we will review the details and take appropriate action. This may include editing metadata to properly attribute the work, adding official links to your streaming platforms (such as YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Music), or removing the lyrics completely from our public database.

📝 Information to Include in Your Report

To help us process your request quickly, please provide the following information in your email:

  1. Your Contact Details: Your full name, email address, physical address, and telephone number.
  2. Rights Holder Information: The name of the copyright owner (if you are writing on behalf of an artist, band, composer, or label, please state your relationship or authorization).
  3. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: The song title, artist/band name, and composer (please include a link to an official release, audio stream, or publisher page where the work can be verified).
  4. Specific URLs on Our Site: The exact web link(s) on Bangla Lyrics Hub where the content is located (e.g., https://banglalyricshub.com/song/example-song).
  5. Requested Action: Specify if you would like us to remove the content entirely, update the credits/transliteration, or add links to your official channels.
  6. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  7. Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in your report is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  8. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full legal name at the end of the email is acceptable for electronic submissions.

We review and respond to all copyright and takedown emails within 48 hours of receipt.

Counter-Notices

If content you submitted is removed after a copyright report and you believe the removal happened because of a mistake or misidentification, you may email a counter-notice to copyright@banglalyricshub.com. Please include your contact details, the removed content or page URL, a short explanation of why you believe the removal was mistaken, and your physical or electronic signature.

We may share counter-notice details with the original reporter when needed to review the dispute. Please do not send private information you are not comfortable sharing as part of the copyright review process.

Need a General Correction?

If you are a music fan or community member and simply noticed a typo, formatting error, or wrong line in a song's lyrics, you do not need to file a copyright report. Instead, you can use our standard Lyrics Correction Form or write to us through our general Contact Form.
