কলঙ্ক আর জোছনায়-মেশা
তুমি সুন্দর চাঁদ।
জাগালে জোয়ার ভাঙিলে আবার
সাগর-কূলের বাঁধ॥
তিথিতে তিথিতে সুদূর অতিথি
ভোলাও জাগাও ভুলে-যাওয়া স্মৃতি,
এড়াইতে গিয়ে পরানে জড়াই
তোমার রূপের ফাঁদ॥
চাহি না তোমায়, তবু তোমারেই
ভাবি বাতায়নে বসি,
আমার নিশীথে তুমিই এনেছ
শুক্লা চতুর্দশী।
সুন্দর তুমি, তবু ভয় মনে
আছে কলঙ্ক জ্যোছনার সনে,
মুখোমুখি বসে কাঁদি তাই বুকে
সাধ আর অবসাদ।
