না খাইলে থাকে সুখে।

আর বিষ খেলে, তখনি মরণ,

সদা ছটফট, ঘূরুণি নিপট,
লট পট তার বেশ।।
নয়নের কোণে, চাহে যাঁহা পানে,
সে ছাড়ে জীবনের আশ।
পরশ পাথর, ঠেকিয়া রহিল,
কহে বড়ু চণ্ডীদাস।।
