আমার কাছে এলে,
আকাশ বুঝি তারার প্রদীপ

পাখী বলে, আমি দিলাম গান–
সুরে সুরে ভরিয়ে তোলে প্রাণ,
ঐ ছড়িয়ে খুশি কি খেলা আজ
বাতাস গেল খেলে।
যেমন করে ভুবন ভরে ফাগুন বেলা আসে,
তারই মত এলে ওগো বন্ধু আমার পাশে।
আমার মালা বলে, কণ্ঠে পেয়ে ঠাঁই
আমি যে আজ ধন্য হতে চাই।
এই লগনে আজ তুমি কি তার
আভাস কিছু পেলে।
