ফুলে ও ফসলে কাদা মাটি জলে
ঝলমল করে লাবণি॥
রৌদ্রতপ্ত বৈশাখে তুমি চাতকের সাথে চাহ জল,
আম-কাঁঠালের মধুর গন্ধে জ্যৈষ্ঠে মাতাও তরুতল।
ঝঞ্ঝার সাথে প্রান্তরে মাঠে কভু খেল লয়ে অশনি॥
কেতকী কদম যূথিকা কুসুমে বর্ষায় গাঁথ মালিকা,
পথে অবিরল ছিটাইয়া জল খেল চঞ্চলা বালিকা।
তড়াগে পুকুরে থইথই করে শ্যামল শোভার নবনী॥
শাপলা শালুকে সাজাইয়া সাজি শরতে শিশিরে নাহিয়া,
শিউলি-ছোপানো শাড়ি পরে ফের আগমনি-গীতি গাহিয়া।
অঘ্রানে মা গো আমন ধানের সুঘ্রাণে ভরে অবনি॥
শীতের শূন্য মাঠে তুমি ফের উদাসী বাউল সাথে মা,
ভাটিয়ালি গাও মাঝিদের সাথে, কীর্তন শোন রাতে মা।
ফাল্গুনে রাঙা ফুলের আবিরে রাঙাও নিখিল ধরণি॥
