তোর বিদায়-বেলার বন্ধুরে
দেখে নে নয়ন পুরে।
সে যায় মিশে ওই কোন দূরে
বেলাশেষের শেষ সুরে॥
ঘুমের মাঝে বন্ধু তোর,
ছিঁড়বে বাহুর বাঁধন-ডোর!
যাবে নয়ন, রবে নয়ন-লোর,
যায় রে বিহগ যায় উড়ে॥
তুই বহাবি নদী কেঁদে, –
পাষাণে হৃদয় বেঁধে
তবু যেতে হবে তায়
অসহায় – অচিন পুরে॥
