ভোমরাকে যেতে বল।
সখী গুঞ্জরি ফেরে কেন কুঞ্জে
বৃথাই এত ছল॥
কত কী শুনিয়ে যায় গুনগুনিয়ে হায় –
পাতার ঝরোকায় ঘোরে সে অবিরল॥
আমার প্রাণের ভিতর কেন ওঠায় সে ঝড়,
তারে ফেরালে ফেরে না হাসে কেবল,
সে ফিরিয়া গেলে চোখে আসে জল।
এ কী হল দায় আঁখি নাহি চায়
না দেখিলে তায় প্রাণ পাগল॥

Tare fherale fhere na hashe kebol,
She firiya gele chokhe ashe jol.
E ki holo day ankhi nahi chay
Na dekhile tay pran pagol.
