ফুল ঝরার বেলা এলে কি শেষ অতিথি,
কাঁদে হা হা স্বরে রিক্ত কানন-বীথি।
এলে কোন মরুভূমে পিয়াসি দয়িত মোর,
শুক্লাতিথির শেষে কাঁদিতে এলে চকোর।
আসিলে জীবন-সাঁঝে ঘুম ভাঙাতে॥
